Clued Up Project

Clued Up Project

Providing a comprehensive “youth friendly” substance use support and information service for young people under-25 in the Fife area, also targeting the wider issues of general well-being and lifestyle. The project provides education, prevention, early intervention and diversion for young people affected by their own or someone else’s substance use.

We provide Outreach & Employability services with 1-2-1 support, groupwork, and drop-in services.

Working in partnership with NHS Fife, Fife Council and Police Scotland we are part of the MAIT scheme (Mobile Alcohol Intervention Team). The initiative’s aim is to engage with young people out on the streets An alcohol brief intervention including a FAST/CRAFFT assessment of their alcohol use is offered. This is delivered every Friday night across different parts of Fife between 6pm and 10pm when young people are drinking on the streets. Clued Up do a follow up with the young people who have engaged in MAIT and a fuller assessment of their needs is done.
